What families look for in a boy’s biodata

  • Career first: profession, designation, company and city. Add years of experience if it helps.
  • Education: degrees highest first, with the institution.
  • Family: parents’ occupations, siblings and whether the family lives together.
  • Height, date and place of birth, and horoscope details if your family uses them.
  • Income is optional. Many families write “Disclosed on request”.
  • A short, sincere ‘About me’ and clear partner expectations.

Templates that suit a groom’s profile

Clean, structured layouts tend to work best: Slate’s two-column layout keeps the photo and contact details in a sidebar, Ivory is a timeless single column, and Rajwada adds a formal maroon-and-gold frame for traditional families.
